I’ve attended many cons and love wandering the artists alley, last month I got to see what it was like to have my own artists alley table at 90s Con!

After set up and grabbing dinner with a friend, I settled into my hotel room and watched cartoons (they happened to be playing Miraculous Ladybug and Bluey on TV, two shows I love!)

While I was on my own for the first night at the hotel, my roommates joined me the next day: including this lil guy, Toby! Seen here helping me out with my wardrobe. Speaking of wardrobe…

Being a 90s pop culture convention means time to break out the various fashion trends of the 90s! Putting together these outfits was so much fun, as was seeing all the outfits and cosplays the attendees put together. I wonder how many butterfly clips wound up in the lost and found? (I know I lost at least one of mine!)

There were SO many guests at this con, SO MANY! While I spent a majority of my weekend at my table, I was able to slip away long enough to meet the one guest I wanted to meet: Steve Burns from Blue’s Clues! I gave him a print of my Blues Clues fan art and had him sign one for me. Blue’s Clues was one of my absolute FAVORITE shows as a kid!

My colorful, nostalgic artwork was right at home in the vendors hall. In fact, I couldn’t RESIST getting some colorful, nostalgic stuff too! Earrings from No Rhyme or Reason Art, Night Owl Designs and Larisa Styles it All

This was definitely a learning experience and a challenge. (Took me right up to the last day to make back my table cost!) I am SO grateful my booth was so close to the mac and cheese vendor so grabbing lunch was very easy. Despite the challenges, I had a fun time! Will I come back next year? Hmm…we’ll see!
